New Year New You??? How about a Refreshed You!

Mommies, it’s the new year and I’m guessing that things are pretty much the same in your world…thankless hours of doing laundry, cooking, cleaning…tantrums, children coming off their holiday schedules and the exhaustion that you feel everyday.  It’s time to do something for you this month.  Here are a few ideas to help you get past the post-holiday stress.  Take me for example…I took that yoga class I’d been waiting to take for the last 4 years and it felt pretty damn good!

  1.  Take a Yoga class.  If you can’t get to a class try my most favorite yoga class app called Yoga Studio.  You can customize your classes, go at your own pace, or take a ready-made class.  If you can sneak 15 minutes in, you’ve already taken a class.
  2. Book a facial.  You and your winter skin will feel refreshed and you will have had a quiet hour break.
  3. Schedule a blow dry.  If you can squeeze in 30 minutes, blow out your hair.  Ladies, we all know it’s better than doing it ourselves.
  4. Schedule a night out with the girls.  It’s always nice to schedule an evening with friends after the holidays in order to regroup!

It might not be a NEW you, but here’s to a REFRESHED you in 2017!
