Subscription Boxes I'm Into and Not Into

Hi Mommies,

Over the last two years I have been loving subscription boxes. Currently I receive the fabfitfun box and Glossy Box.

I recently cancelled my Box of Style (Rachel Zoe) because the product choices were too predictable. I received 6 boxes and have enough robes swim coverups to last me the next 5 years. The jewelry choices were also not my taste, so I felt like I was wasting money. Also, if you follow my blog, you know that I’m very into clean skincare, and yes, while some of the products were clean, others were not. What I did like was being introduced to new and chic designers. My take - I think that the box would be great if it were an annual subscription with pieces that could be worn every season.

The GlossyBox is an inexpensive way to try new makeup monthly! I enjoy trying the products and I give away the products that aren’t as clean to my friends who don’t mind what’s in the products (lol you know who you are). They do a variety of hair, nail, body, skin and face and I love it. If you do subscribe monthly it’s about $20 a month and you get way more value then that. They do give you some full size and some smaller size products, so not everything is full, but it’s cool because you are introduced to new brands and they do include more well known brands too.

The fabfitfun box is my new guilty pleasure for 2020. I just signed up for the regular subscription and was excited to receive my 2019 Winter Editor’s box. I really liked how many questions I had to answer in order to properly customize my box. I do have to say that I was into all the products! From a cute bluetooth shower speaker to a Briogio hair mask (my fav), I was pleasantly surprised. I decided to do a box subscription review on my youtube page, so take a look at that as well, as I’ll be reviewing all the boxes I receive. I’ll also post them on the blog.
