Why I cancelled my GlossyBox Subscription for Ipsy

Hi Everyone,

Can we all agree that box subscriptions can get repetitive and boring? I LOVE trying new beauty and makeup products, but I’ve found that GlossyBox repeats many of their products and there were many products I would give away because I wouldn’t be interested in using them. I also have had a difficult time dealing with their customer service…pieces are missing from the boxes and the issues go unresolved.

So…I switched to Ipsy today. The monthly box is $13/month for 5 deluxe size sample products and you can tailor from there. What I liked was the questionnaire that they asked you about what you specifically wanted in the boxes. I also upgraded my subscription to receive the Alicia Keys Collab this August. I know that she’s into clean products (as am I), so I thought it would be a great first look into this box. I will keep you all posted and will add on to this blog when my first box comes in!
